Oakville's townhome profiles.
Oakville's townhome profiles.
Oakville offers a fairly limited number of options in this price range. They are older (25 years +) condo townhomes with condo fees typically ranging around $250 to $400 per month. Most are 3 bedrooms, although sometimes a 4 bedroom will come up, and they usually have 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom. The townhomes in this bracket are found in the more mature neighbourhoods such as Falgarwood and College Park.

Staying under $350,000, you are still looking mostly at condominium style townhomes. There are a mix of older, updated townhomes and some newer, 2 bedroom options with lower condo fees. A freehold townhome under $350,000 is hard to find and it will typically be older..

The majority of Oakville's townhome market falls into this price category. In the mid $300's, you are mostly dealing with condo townhouses, but as you start to get into the $370,000 range, there are more freehold towns to choose from. As you close in to $450,000 you can get a newer townhouse and the size goes up to about 1,500 square feet.

Here you will find the larger floor plans (1,500 square feet and up) along with some higher end finishes or a premium lot (ravine, greenspace). Newer, executive townhomes in Oakville start around $500,000.

In the upper price ranges, you are getting into some larger (2,000 square foot plus) townhomes located in some of Oakville's more luxury neighbourhoods such as Joshua Creek, Bronte Creek, Bronte and Downtown Oakville. Townhome prices in Oakville can run up to $1.5 million and even a little bit more.
